Snow tyres for a new customer

Harry was a car mechanic who ran his own car service centre in a small village near Southampton. He had some regular customers who always visited his centre every time they had problems with their cars. Cases of strangers visiting his premises were rather rare, but form time to time, this happened too. After all, the roads near the village were rather busy, and small accidents happened sometimes. Drivers found out somehow that his centre was so close so they arrived to have their suspension checked or engines fixed. On that particular day, a young guy arrived at the centre. Harry had never seen him before. The guy asked if Harry had some snow tyres to offer. The question was rather strange to Harry as in his area people did not use to buy winter tyres very often. They usually drove on all-season tyres all year round. After all, the weather was never freezing and snowfalls were rather rare. Even if the winters were snowy sometimes, it was not so bad that people had to use snow tyres, which were, by the way, not required by the authorities. The guy explained that he was driving to Switzerland and he had just learned that the weather there was really cold and the roads were slippery. He had better have a set of snow tyres fitted into his car as soon as possible.
